I am REALLY frustrated with the casting of The Hunger Games. The only ones I really approve of are Gale, Peeta, and President Snow. I think Lenny as Cinna will grow on me, but Katniss… No. Just no. The part where she offers herself as tribute is HORRIBLE. The actress just doesn’t know what the fuck she’s doing and UUUUGH >:U I AM SO FULL OF RAGE

I normally wouldn’t you know… be upset with someone’s opinion, but this one I just totally don’t understand. How can you say that when Jennifer acts out the scene where she volunteers as tribute is horrible? I honestly feel that this is REALLY harsh. 

And, that she doesn’t know what she is doing?! I’m sorry, but she was nominated for BEST ACTRESS at the Academy Awards when she wasn’t even on the map when it came to acting. 

If you would like to watch that part again, you would EASILY see that she does an amazing job. Is it the screaming you don’t like? Because I find it very powerful, the one person she loves just got a death sentence, is she supposed to be calm? Because I sure know I wouldn’t be! I mean, all people ever do is rave about how amazing she is, and how no one else could be Katniss.

I think it is about time people stop complaining about who is cast, because they are already in the film, that is only a month away, she is signed on for the rest of them films too, and you really shouldn’t judge how “horrible” it is, until you see the whole movie. Now I get that this may be the first time you have seen the preview, but just go back and watch it again, ignore what you think Katniss was in your head, and just watch Jennifer, you will see that SHE IS KATNISS, and I think she has done a remarkable job at bringing her to life.

I hope you don’t take this offensively, because it wasn’t intended that way, I am just a huge fan of Jennifer’s and wanted to defend her in any way possible:)
